Responsibilities:
- To advise company on any requirement, regulation and act relate with HSE that shall be comply.
- To be as a secretary for company HSE committee (Project)
- To plan for any HSE program to enhance HSE awareness among staff or workers
- Conduct safety induction for new construction workers and all new site staff.
- Conduct toolbox meeting on daily basis.
- Ensuring that employer comply with the established safety and health regulation.
- Monitor and enforce the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear by all personnel on the worksite promote safe work practices.
- Being a liaison between local authority, client, main contractor and subcontractor.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure all the highlight issued by local authority, client and main contractor is all in order and must be rectify before the due date as given.
- Member of safety committee with main contractor.
- Training and overseeing workers on safety procedures and practices to prevent injuries or accidents.
- Coordinating first aid treatment and medical evacuation in cases of serious injury or illness.
- Inspecting the site for potential hazards that may cause harm to people or damage to property.
- Providing first aid treatment to injured workers, using knowledge of medical terminology, bandaging techniques, and other basic medical procedures.
- Monitoring the work environment to ensure that safety standards are met by workers and contractors.
- Reviewing safety procedures and equipment to ensure that they are adequate for the task at hand.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that safety requirements are met and that work activities are performed safely.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of the worksite, including equipment, machinery, and work areas, to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- To perform workplace inspection to ensure the workplace is safe and healthy environment.
- To perform visual machinery, tools and equipment to ensure it is safe to use and comply with company HSE requirement.
- Conducting training sessions on site safety and providing feedback on performance.
Requirements:
- Candidate must at least registered SSS (Yellow Book) with DOSH.
- Candidate must at least have attended SSS course/SHO course.
- Minimum 2 years experiences in managing HSE.
- Carrying out post incident analysis.
- Establishing workplace safety and health committees.
- Knowledge of decontamination procedures.
- Knowledge of good safety practices.
- Developing emergency procedures.
- Knowledge of first aid methods and techniques.
